Diploma in Bookkeeping

Diploma in Bookkeeping Program is designed for the students to provide a sound foundation to those who want to join the field of bookkeeping, payroll, personal finance, personal taxation and small business taxation in the modern business environment nationally and internationally.

This program will be delivered through a variety of methods including lectures, assignments, projects etc. and will be supervised by the individuals who are expert in their filed. Courses has been selected based on demand in the market and providing a skill set to student to enter into labor force related to bookkeeping, payroll and taxation field. Upon completion of the Program, the successful students will have the ability to explain and apply major concepts related to bookkeeping, taxation and payroll areas and perform chores of bookkeeper with taxation and payroll activities.

Hospitality Marketing & Sales

Certificate in Hospitality Marketing & Sales offers an opportunity to the students to understand the fundamental theoretical concepts as well as get practical experience related to the hospitality industry sales and marketing.

This certificate contains overall 350 hours to be completed in 17.5 weeks in the field of the hospitality industry marketing and sales. Due to more and more integration with the rest of the world, the hospitality industry is a rapidly growing in BC. According to BC Labor Outlook 2019, Marketing and Sales in hospitality industry has great career opportunities. This program provides key skills, and knowledge to the students required for the careers related to marketing and sales in hospitality sector. Certificate offers a study of 7 courses related to the tourism, accommodation industry, marketing, restaurant operations, sales management, computer applications and professionalism. This program is basically designed to prepare students to enter into the diverse hospitality industry.

Hospitality Management

Diploma in Hospitality Management (DHM) offers an opportunity to the students to understand the fundamental theoretical concepts as well as get practical experience related to the hospitality industry. This program will mainly prepare students for the following NOC Code:

6313 - Accommodation, travel, tourism, and related services supervisors
1226 - Conference and event planners
6311 - Food service supervisors
6314 – Customer and information service supervisor
6316 - Other services supervisors
6411 – Sales and marketing coordinator/representative

This diploma contains overall 2,000 hours over four semesters, with 1,000 hours of study and 1,000 hours of co-op work experience in any relevant field of the hospitality industry.
